Image of Diodes' PI2DBS16212A Mux/DeMuxDiodes' PI2DBS16212A is a high-performance, high-speed, two-channel differential, analog passive Mux/Demux switch capable of switching multiple serial protocols up to data rates of 20 Gbps, including PCIe® 4.0, USB 3.2 Gen2, 10GE, Thunderbolt 3, SAS 3.0, and SATA 3.0 signals. The device’s bidirectional operation enables it to operate as both a differential signal path multiplexer and a demultiplexer at data rates up to 20 Gbps, offering low 30 ps channel-to-channel skew. Based on a unique design technique, Diodes has been able to optimize dynamic electrical characteristics of the device, such as low insertion loss, crosstalk, and return loss. The PI2DBS16212A is available in a 2.5 mm x 2.5 mm W-QFN25252-24 package.
