Infineon Technologies' WICED® Studio Bluetooth portfolio consists of dual-mode BT solutions that supports Bluetooth Classic i.e. Basic Rate (BR) and Enhanced Data Rate (EDR) as well as Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE). Infineon Technologies’ BLE portfolio consists of WICED® SMART and PSoC® 4 BLE MCU solutions and System-in-Package (SiP) modules. These are single-mode i.e. BLE-only solutions. The Infineon Technologies Bluetooth portfolio includes BT 4.2 core specification-compliant, BR + EDR + BLE solutions that integrate Bluetooth standard profiles and protocols for embedded applications.
CYW20719 Dual-Mode Bluetooth® 5.0 Wireless MCU
CYW20719 Bluetooth 5.0 Wireless MCU along with support in WICED® Studio enables dual-mode Bluetooth 5.0 in IoT applications.
- Target applications include: Wearables/fitness bands, home automation, blood pressure monitors/other medical devices, audio, and more
- A CYW20719 evaluation kit is available to prototype IoT applications using the CYW20719 device as well as on-board sensors and other peripherals
Bluetooth WICED® CYW20706 and CYW20737 Modules
Bluetooth WICED modules are fully certified, programmable Bluetooth Smart/Bluetooth Smart Ready modules delivering industry-leading RF performance for IoT designs.
- Fully integrated modules contain Infineon Technologies’ Bluetooth Smart or Bluetooth Smart Ready chipsets, crystal(s), antenna, shield, and passive components
- Eval boards for these modules are supported within WICED Smart or WICED Studio and are Arduino compatible, allowing for additional functionality to be added via off-the-shelf Arduino shields

Infineon Technologies provides this BT 4.2 EVK to develop IoT applications with the CYW20706 Bluetooth Classic + BLE solution.
- CYW20706 is a monolithic, single-chip, Bluetooth 4.2 + HS compliant SoC, comprised of a baseband processor, an Arm® Cortex®-M3 processor, and an integrated transceiver
- The CYW20706 BT SoC and this EVK are supported in WICED Studio 5.0 (or later)
