Image of Broadcom's ASMB-UTFx PLCC6 RGB Tri-Color Surface Mount LEDsBroadcom’s ASMB-UTFx RGB tricolor surface mount LEDs are packaged inside a 6-pin plastic-leaded chip carrier (PLCC6) platform measuring 2.8 mm x 2.7 mm x 2.4 mm (L x W x H). The ASMB-UTFx dimensions are suitable for small pitch and high-resolution displays; the optimized height allows potting capability to be done across the board without jeopardizing the performance of the LEDs. The black outer appearance of the LEDs enhances the contrast of the display. To facilitate easy pick-and-place assembly, the LEDs ship in tape and reel form. Every reel is shipped from a single intensity and color bin for better uniformity.
