Image of Broadcom's ACPL-214, 224, and 244 Industrial Plastic Phototransistors The Broadcom AC input half-pitch phototransistor optocouplers contain two light-emitting diodes connected inversely parallel and optically coupled to a phototransistor(s). They are packaged in a 4-pin SO package (single-channel) and in an 8-pin SO package.

Input-output isolation voltage is rated at 3000 VRMS. Response time (tr) is 2 µs typically, while minimum current transfer ratio (CTR) is 20% at an input current of 1 mA.
