Forward Converter Transformers - PLR Series
Bourns' transformers provide 25 W power for PoE and a wide variety of DC/DC applications
Bourns' PLR series planar transformers are surface-mount forward converter transformers that provide 25 W of power with a low maximum leakage inductance of 0.216 μH. Output voltages are 5 V at 5 A or 12 V at 2.1 A, and the withstand Hi-Pot rating is 1,500 VDC. The operating temperature range is from -40°C to +125°C and has a low height profile. It is ideal for Power over Ethernet (PoE), remote microcomputer powering applications, industrial power systems, switched-mode power supplies (SMPS), and LED lighting to name a few.
