Accu-Guard® II Low-Current Series Compact 0603, 0402, and 0201 Fuse

KYOCERA AVX's Accu-Guard II low-current series fuses are available in 0603, 0402 and 0201 case sizes and features land grid array (LGA) terminations. Based on thin-film multilayer technology, these fuses exhibit low current ratings and post-fusing resistance greater than 1 M Ω. These single-use fuses are available in nine different values between 28 mA and 200 mA that designers can use to design around switch-on and other momentary current pulses. The series is ideal for various protection applications such as handheld radios, smartphones, and lithium-ion batteries. They are also well suited for use in harsh and potentially explosive ATEX environment applications, including gas distribution centers.

KYOCERA AVX became the world’s first provider of low-current 0201 fuses rated for less than 150mA. This is one of the industry's lowest current rating in the 0201 case size. The 0201 Accu-Guard II low-current fuses offer current ratings extending from 28 mA to 200 mA and deliver valuable space savings and fast-acting, high-reliability circuit protection in several applications. They are compliant with IATF and UL/cUL regulations and are available in tape-and-reel packaging to be utilized in automated processing.
