Alorium's Snō is an Arduino-compatible FPGA System on Module (SoM) in a compact footprint. Snō's FPGA has an embedded 8-bit AVR instruction set-compatible microcontroller, making Snō fully compatible with the Arduino IDE. Being 0.7 inches x 1.7 inches, Snō is ideal for space-constrained applications. In addition, prototyping with Snō is quick and efficient when pairing with SnōMākr, Snō's breakout board. SnōMākr provides convenient access to signal I/O in the familiar Arduino Uno layout.
Alorium Technology provides a library of custom logic called Xcelerator Blocks (XBs) through the Arduino IDE that accelerate specific functionality that is slow, problematic, or even impossible for an 8-bit microcontroller. This library includes XBs such as Servo Control, Quadrature, Floating Point Math, NeoPixel, and Enhanced Analog-to-Digital Converter.
